Diving

Los Gigantes, Playa de las Americas, Los Cristianos, Playa Paraiso, Santa Cruz, Puerto de la Cruz and the Costa del Silencio.

With good visibility of 25 – 30 metres and a varied selection of marine life to include Parrot fish, Barracuda, Trigger fish, Moray eels, Octopus and Grouper, diving in the warm clear waters of Tenerife will not disappoint you. There are many dive sites where the seascapes are spectacular and there is opportunity to feed the Eaglerays, Stingrays and Turtles by hand, as well as play with the Baby Octopus.

La Galletas – Stingrays and Sharks

Los Gigantes – Turtles

The narrow shelves of volcanic rock around the island fall to great depths, this is where vast numbers of sea creatures can be found it is also worth noting the outstanding geological interest in the area.

There are also well preserved sunken wrecks and caves to explore.

Locally there are escorted diving trips and if you are looking to either learn to dive and/or develop your skills on either BS-AC or PADI courses please ask for further details.
