One of the oldest towns in the south of Tenerife. The narrow streets and traditional Canarian architecture give the town an historical charm but its position with a mountain backdrop and surrounded by pine forests means it retains a rural feel. There are some excellent restaurants that have recently received very good reviews together with a good choice of local bars and shops.

San Miguel appeals to those who wish to be far enough from the busy tourist areas on the coast but close enough to enjoy all the available facilities, being only 30 minutes drive from Playa de las Americas or Los Cristianos.

We would recommend a car if you want to explore the surrounding countryside but if all you want to do is relax in the gardens of La Bodega then we can arrange for you to be met at the airport.
