Playa de las Americas is less than 30 minutes taxi ride from Tenerife South Airport. It has some of the liveliest nightlife in Tenerife with bars and nightclubs catering for all ages and tastes. However if you fancy something more sedate you can still find a quiet bar away from the front. There are great sandy beaches, shopping malls stocking the latest designer gear, and a huge choice of restaurants.
