La
Bodega is a lovingly converted old wine bodega and farmhouse set
in attractively laid out sub-tropical gardens, with a swimming pool
and several
sun terraces. The restoration has retained the original
thick walls, beautiful timbers, tiles and the old stones to add
to the rustic charm of this interesting but different holiday location.
There is a separate barbecue area and patios for relaxing and enjoying
the truly spectacular views to the sea. The four spacious self-catering
cottages, named after tropical flowers, can be rented individually
by the week for a couple or collectively for friends or relatives
as one large rural retreat. Each cottage is unique with different
styles and fabrics and furnished to a very high standard. Each has
a fully fitted kitchen, satellite TV, DVD and safe. Daily maid service
is available if required. There are truly spectacular views from
the terraces and gardens.
Your
hosts Ray and Sheila live within the grounds so are on hand to give
a friendly welcome to all guests. Sheila will show you to your chosen
cottage and will help with any queries during your stay. They can
recommend some excellent restaurants as well as providing home cooked
meals for guests if required.

The original cane ceilings of this cottage were restored and
are now extremely rare in Tenerife. They were once a feature
of many fine old Canarian buildings. Good sized lounge with
TV, DVD and music centre. Leads to the kitchen and dining area
with fully fitted units, full oven and hob, microwave and all
crockery and cutlery. Looks out onto the courtyard.
A
spacious bedroom with double bed, two fitted wardrobes, bedside
cabinets and a really great feature of window seats. All fixtures
are in keeping with this rural style of property.
You have the use of the gardens and terraces. There are many
areas to sit in either sun or shade and take in the quite
spectacular views down to the coast. There is a barbeque area
for guests. A utility area is provided with coin-operated
washing machine (3 euros). Beach towels can be hired for 2
euros each saving on packing space!
